Michigan Passing Game Coordinator (aka QB Coach) Pep Hamilton has had a rough go of things in his 1 year in Ann Arbor, and it looks like he could be on his way out. As I reported last week on Michigan Football Report, Hamilton is exploring a new job in the NFL after being encouraged to find a new role by Michigan coach Jim Harbaugh.
Fox Sports college football reporter Bruce Feldman is reporting that Hamilton is likely being pursued by Jon Gruden to join his staff with the Raiders. If Gruden ends up hiring Hamilton, it would likely be as the Raiders QB Coach, and would be with Harbaugh's blessing, as he and Gruden have been close for many years.

It should come as no surprise that Hamilton is likely leaving the program to anyone who watches Michigan Football Report on Facebook Live. Recently we gave our "4-Harbaugh, F-A-C-K" rating to the rumor that Hamilton was interviewing for NFL jobs, and with the hiring of former Arkansas OC Dan Enos this week, it was pretty clear that Hamilton was gone.
In the past. Hamilton has served at QB coach for Stanford, OC for Stanford, OC for the Colts, and Passing Game Coordinator for the Browns.
