The Michigan Wolverines may have just wrapped up their 2017 recruiting class on National Signing Day, but Jim Harbaugh & Co. have already been working hard on their 2018 class. Now that they can focus their full attention on that 2018 class, here are the five top prospects they are pursuing:
5) TE Brevin Jordan
The No. 2 tight end in the class has a pretty open recruitment at this point, and Michigan is pursuing him as hard as anyone. At 6-foot-3 and 240 lbs, he already has elite size and his play style fits Michigan perfectly.
4) QB Dorian Thompson-Robinson
Jordan's quarterback at Bishop Gorman High School in Las Vegas, Thompson-Robinson is the fourth-ranked dual-threat quarterback in this class. He is already favoring Michigan, but Jedd Fisch was his primary recruiter. Replacing him and maintaining that relationship will be key in keeping them in front.
3) RB Jaelen Gill
Gill is the No. 2 player in the state of Ohio and is leaning strongly towards the Buckeyes right now, but Michigan has placed a high emphasis on him as they try to continue to add depth to their backfield. At 6-foot-1 and 185 lbs., he is ranked as the No. 3 all-purpose back in the country.
2) S B.J. Foster
Foster is heavily leaning towards Texas at this point, but the top-ranked safety and top player from Texas in the class is still considering other schools. Michigan is one of a handful of schools pushing hardest for Foster, but they have some ground to make up.
1) RB T.J. Pledger
Pledger has a good chance to be the prize of this class. The 5-foot-9, 190-pounder is one of Michigan's top priorities in 2018, hoping to pluck him from IMG Academy. He's the No. 2 all-purpose back and No. 25 overall prospect in the country.
