Michigan head coach Jim Harbaugh provided an update on the health of Wilton Speight Monday, saying Speight would not be able to play if Michigan had a game this week. However, he did not provide further details on the severity of the injury or what it even is.

Michigan Wolverine starting quarterback Wilton Speight left Saturday's game against the Purdue Boilermakers in the first quarter after getting sacked. He was hit by multiple defenders and after the play remained down on the field. He was able to walk off the field under his own power.After walking into the locker room, Speight was taken to a local hospital for X-rays. The fifth-year senior for Michigan John O'Korn filled in for Speight where he played alright throwing for 270 yards, one touchdown, and one interception.

Head Coach Jim Harbaugh didn't give a lot of information about his injury. He did say that it is believed to be a soft tissue injury.

Once we get more details tomorrow we will update you. Luckily the Wolverines have a bye week so if Speight is injured it gives the Wolverines an extra week of preparation.
