The Michigan Wolverines are in the process of putting together the first recruiting class under head coach Jim Harbaugh. The Wolverines already have one of the best classes in the nation, but they aren't done yet. They're making a strong push during the last month of recruiting as we head towards National Signing Day on Wednesday, Feb. 3. Here are 3 rumors you need to know for Michigan football recruiting with one week until Signing Day.
1. Lavert Hill Down To Three
Hill is a four-star CB that the Wolverines are pursuing hard. He announced on Twitter that he's narrowed down his list to the final three options and will make his decision on National Signing Day.

Hill was once committed to Penn State, but Michigan and Michigan State are the two favorites to land him. Hill's brother plays at Michigan, but several of his close friends are heading to the MSU.
2. Rashan Gary Will Visit Clemson, Not Alabama
The defensive tackle and No. 1 overall recruit will use his final official visit on Clemson and not Alabama. That should help Michigan, and certainly won't hurt the Wolverines. Gary has also official visited Michigan and has visited Ann Arbor several other times. Gary won't announce his decision until Signing Day. The Wolverines are currently the favorites to land Gary, which would give them their first ever No. 1 overall recruit. For more on Gary's recruitment, download the Chat Sports Android and iPhone app.
3. Eddie McDoom Commits
The Wolverines have added yet another commitment, this time in the form of three-star WR Eddie McDoom. He announced the decision this morning on Twitter.
I'm officially committing to the University of Michigan

In addition to having an awesome name, McDoom is a top 70 WR according to 247Sports. McDoom was committed to Oregon, before decommitting 10 days ago. The Wolverines beat out Kentucky and Florida to land McDoom.
