The Michigan Wolverines have traditionally held their spring football game on a Saturday afternoon. That won't be the case this year, as the Wolverines announced they'll hold their spring game Friday night on April 1st. It's the first time Michigan will hold its spring game at night.
The date for the spring game is also one of the earliest in recent years for Michigan. Usually, the spring game occurs in early or mid-April.
The time of the spring game has not yet been announced, but it will be televised live on the Big Ten Network. The addition of the live TV coverage adds even more publicity to a program that has received plenty of it since Jim Harbaugh took over.
Michigan moving the time of its spring game isn't the only change the Wolverines have made to their spring practice plans this year. The team starts spring ball later this month, in Bradenton, Florida on Feb. 29th.
