The Michigan Wolverines have offered a scholarship to 2020 four-star quarterback Drew Pyne (New Canaan, CT), he told 247sports.
“Jack Stewart my left tackle from New Canaan was visiting Michigan last weekend and Michigan offered him,” Pyne said. “Coach Harbaugh told Jack that Michigan wanted to offer me and suggested that I give him a call. I called Coach Harbaugh and he offered me. It was awesome to talk to Coach Harbaugh and be offered by such a great school. It’s a school I'm interested in and would be cool to play under Coach Harbaugh.
“When I found out Michigan was offering me, I felt very thankful. It was a school I watched as a kid. I know Jack really enjoyed his trip and loved the coaching staff. Michigan is a great school and football program and have gotten to know Shea (Patterson) and Tarik (Black) through the past couple years. I know Coach Harbaugh has a great history of winning and that's something I admire.”
Pyne threw for 2,347 yards, 11 passing touchdowns while also rushing for 430 yards and three scores as a sophomore last season.
