The Michigan Wolverines have long been the favorite for four-star tight end Mustapha Muhammad (Missouri City, TX), and he released his top five schools on Twitter this week.
Michigan made the cut, along with Clemson, LSU, Texas and UCLA.

Muhammad vocalized his interest in playing in the SEC earlier this summer. He does hold scholarship offers from 11 SEC schools, though LSU is the only school in the conference that made his top five.
They are considered to be Michigan's biggest threat for Muhammad, though Tom Herman and Texas are also making a strong push. The Longhorns have the No. 2 recruiting class in the country and have secured nine of the top 30 prospects in the state.
The 6-foot-4, 235-pounder is ranked as the No. 5 tight end and No. 111 overall prospect in 247sports' Composite Rankings, along the No. 14 prospect in Texas.
