The Michigan Wolverines have placed a high priority on offensive linemen again in the 2019 recruiting class with four-star tackle William Harrod (Fort Washington, MD) being one of their top targets.
Harrod recently said that Michigan was one of the schools recruiting him the most consistently along with being one of his favorites, along with Maryland, Oklahoma, Ohio State, and Syracuse.
“Michigan, Oklahoma, Ohio State are the most consistent with the recruiting,” Harrod told 247Sports. “Michigan was at our school or workouts every single week they all were able to get out on the road. It’s not a week that went by I didn’t see them. I’ve seen five different Michigan coaches. Coach Pep (Hamilton) even came to my basketball game. That meant a lot to me."
Harrod also plans to make a trip to Ann Arbor this spring.
“My coach is taking us to Michigan, Syracuse, Ohio State, Penn State, Maryland, UNC, South Carolina and Clemson for spring practices.”

While others are starting to narrow down their recruitment, Harrod is still open to all offers, though the Wolverines are thought to be his current favorite.
The 6-foot-5, 305-pounder is ranked as the No. 22 offensive tackle and No. 190 overall prospect in the country, according to the 247sports Composite.
