The Michigan Wolverines made a strong impression on four-star TE Luke Ford during his visit Saturday. Ford wrapped up his visit and liked what he saw from the Wolverines.

Ford's father spoke with 247Sports, saying Michigan is very much in the mix now.
"Big Blue just jumped into a tie with the rest of the crowd," Ford's father Tim told 247Sports. "It was really awesome and Jim Harbaugh is just fantastic."
Ford also enjoyed the visit. His previous top teams included Alabama, Texas and Georgia.
"It was amazing," Ford said. "Me and Jim hit it off. I got to talk with him for two hours and could've talked more. Greg Frey was awesome to hangout with. Facilities were nice and loved the campus."
Ford was previously committed to Arkansas, before decommitting in June. The Wolverines offered Ford a scholarship a few days after that. He also plans to visit Illinois this weekend.
Ford hails from Carterville, Illinois, where he's the state's top recruit. He's the No. 3 TE and the No. 59 overall recruit this year. Michigan is not considered the favorite yet, as that's still Alabama, but the program helped itself in a big way.
