There's just one month until National Signing Day, which means coaches around college football are gearing up for the final push in recruiting. It's Jim Harbaugh first true recruiting class and he has the Michigan Wolverines in position to land one of the best classes in America. There's a ton of recruiting news and rumors to detail, so let's get started. Here's EVERYTHING You Need To Know About Michigan Football Recruiting With One Month Until Signing Day:
Michigan Buzz At Army All-American Bowl
Rivals.com spoke with two recruits and both players believe there are future Michigan players at the Army All-American Bowl. QB Brandon Peters and DT Jordan Elliott both think they're playing with future teammates this weekend. Both Peters and Elliott are already committed to the Wolverines and declined to say who they thought was heading to Michigan.
Hardman Talks Michigan
Five-star athlete Mecole Hardman is one of the top uncommitted recruits. Michigan is in his top five and Hardman had praise for Michigan when talking to Rivals.com at the Army All-American Bowl.
“I love Michigan man, everything about them,” Hardman said. “It’s a great school with a great education. The coaching staff is fantastic and the football program is on way the up with Coach [Jim] Harbaugh. The Jumpman stuff coming in is crazy. I like Michigan and what they’re doing.”
While Hardman has praise for Michigan, he's unlikely to commit to Michigan. He's expected to stay in the South and the top contenders are Alabama, Georgia and Tennessee.
Dylan Crawford Will Announce Decision Saturday
The Wolverines are going hard after four-star WR Dylan Crawford. He'll make his decision Saturday during the Army All-American Bowl. Michigan is the favorite to land Crawford, but several Pac-12 teams are still in the mix. Want to be alerted the second Crawford commits - Download The Chat Sports App For iPhone Or Android
Rashan Gary Will Make Another Visit
Gary is the nation's No. 1 recruit and he's the top target for Michigan. He has the making of a future superstar at defensive tackle and every team in the nation wants him. He's taking another unofficial visit to Michigan Jan. 22nd and all signs point to him joining the Wolverines. If that happens, he'll be the first No. 1 overall recruit to sign with Michigan.
Long To Michigan?
Four-star CB David Long has been a top target for Michigan since he decommitted from Stanford. He's at the Army All-American game this weekend, and he said he knows where he'll be playing next year.
"For the most part I always have my mind made up," Long said. "I’m going to follow through with the schedule that I’ve given you guys with my visits and everything but my mind is kind of made up."
Long will visit Washington the weekend of Jan. 15th, but Harbaugh will get the last home visit. That could give the Wolverines the edge in landing Long.
Isaac Nauta Has Made A Decision
Nauta is the nation's top tight end and a five-star recruit. He said Wednesday that he's made his decision on where to commit.
"I think I have come to a conclusion," Nauta told 247Sports. "I cut it down to two the other day, and I cut it down to one last night."
Nauta will make his decision Saturday at the Army All-American Bowl. Georgia is the favorite to land him, but the Wolverines do have a chance. Want to be alerted the second Nauta commits - Download The Chat Sports App For iPhone Or Android
LaVert Hill Update
Michigan is recruiting Hill heavily and they aren't alone. He's a four-star recruit from Detroit and both the Wolverines and Michigan State Spartans want him. The Clemson Tigers have jumped into the fray, as they offered Hill earlier this week. Hill won't announce until Signing Day, as he still has plans to take visits to Clemson, USC and Michigan State. He visited Michigan in December and his brother Delano Hill is a sophomore safety at Michigan. LaVert Hill is waiting to hear more information about new defensive coordinator Don Brown from his brother before making a decision.
Others Visiting
Gary won't be the only recruit to visit Michigan on the weekend of the 22nd. According to 247Sports, also visiting will be Jordan Fuller, Donald Stewart and Drew Singleton. Fuller is a four-star safety from New Jersey. He's high on Michigan's board. Stewart is a three-star wide receiver. His status is slightly murky because of the team's interest in the aforementioned Crawford. If the team signs Crawford, it might not have space for Stewart. Singleton is a four-star 2017 linebacker. This will be Singleton's fourth visit in less than a year, which makes Michigan the clear favorite to land him.
