Donovan Peoples-Jones is the nation's No. 1 wide receiver and the Michigan Wolverines are one of several teams after him. The Detroit Cass Tech player took a visit to Michigan yesterday and came away more than impressed.
Rivals.com reports (subscription required) that Peoples-Jones had a "mind-blowing visit" to Michigan. Peoples-Jones' father was a graduate of Michigan's medical school, and that's what he wants to study. On his visit to Michigan, Peoples-Jones got an up-close look at the medical facilities and a chance to speak with several doctors. Peoples-Jones was so impressed, that Rivals reports Michigan "may be firmly in the driver's seat."
With that said, Peoples-Jones won't be committing anytime soon. The nation's No. 6 overall recruit is a five-star prospect and has offers from nearly every school in the nation.
Ohio State and Michigan State appear to be the two schools closest to Michigan in the race for Peoples-Jones. Schools like Alabama, Florida and Notre Dame are also making a strong push for Peoples-Jones.
