The Michigan Wolverines are hitting the stretch run of the regular season, but that doesn't mean they've slowed down on the recruiting trail. In fact, the Wolverines' 2017 class already ranks in the top 10 nationally with 16 commitments. Here are all the latest Michigan football recruiting news:
Wolverines a finalist for Peoples-Jones
Donovan Peoples-Jones (Detroit, MI) is the top-ranked wide receiver in the country, and given the increased emphasis Michigan has placed on signing receivers in this recruiting class, he is one of their top two or three overall targets. He released his five finalists on Twitter last weekend, and the Wolverines were among them.

Michigan is considered to be the heavy favorite to land Peoples-Jones. The 6'2", 192-pounder is ranked as the No. 12 overall prospect in the 2017 class.
4-star DT to visit this weekend
Four-star defensive tackle Aubrey Solomon (Leesburg, GA), who committed to Michigan in June before decommitting in August, announced that he will visit Ann Arbor this weekend against Maryland.
Solomon is also considering Georgia, LSU, Alabama and Clemson. He is ranked as the No. 5 defensive tackle and No. 79 overall prospect in the country.
Michigan offers 2018 LB
The Wolverines also extended an offer to 2018 linebacker Brian AsaMoah (Columbus, OH), which was the fifth offer for him
"What's excites me the most about Michigan is their style of play," AsaMoah said, via 247sports. "Coach Harbaugh has came into the program and made an immediate impact."
AsaMoah has not visited Michigan yet, but plans to once his high school season ends this fall. He also has offers from Penn State, Indians and Iowa State.
