Four-star 2017 offensive lineman Tedarrell Slaton (Plantation, FL) said the Michigan Wolverines lead LSU, Florida and Duke, pointing to the coaching staff as the reasons why he favors Michigan.
“They have (Jim) Harbaugh,” Slaton said, via 247sports. “I would really like to play for an NFL coach that can teach me how to get there and get the most out of me.”
Slaton also hopes to visit Florida State and Florida for games this fall, and the Seminoles are making a strong push to land him.
“One of my teammates (Tarvarus McFadden) goes there and he tells me about their facilities and their amazing coaching staff."
Slaton is ranked as the nation’s No. 7 offensive tackle and the No. 5 prospect in the state of Florida in the 2017 class.
