Four-star defensive tackle Tyler Friday (Ramsey, NJ) is scheduled to visit the Michigan Wolverines later this month, according to Steve Lorenz of 247sports.
Ramsey (NJ) Don Bosco Prep 2018 Top100 defensive tackle Tyler Friday will return to Ann Arbor for his second unofficial visit on March 26th, his father confirmed with Wolverine247 on Wednesday night.
Friday first visited Ann Arbor last June unofficially during Michigan's summer camp session.
The four-star has long been one of the top overall targets on the Wolverines' recruiting board in the 2018 cycle as they look to supplement their huge 2017 defensive line haul with a more concentrated group of elite talents. Friday holds a wealth of scholarship offers, including Ohio State, Penn State, Alabama and Tennessee among others.
Michigan is currently the heavy favorite to land Friday, with in-state Rutgers as their biggest competition at this point in his recruitment. The Wolverines have created a strong recruiting pipeline in New Jersey, headlined by Jabrill Peppers and Rashan Gary.
The 6-foot-3, 260 lb. Friday is ranked as the No. 2 defensive tackle and No. 39 overall prospect in the country by 247sports' Composite Rankings.
