The Michigan Wolverines announced Thursday that they have finalized their 2018 and 2019 football schedules. The Wolverines revealed three new non-conference opponents: Western Michigan, Middle Tennessee State and Army. All three games will be home contests.
Western Michigan is the only team of the three Michigan will face in 2018. The Broncos are the home opener for Michigan, as the Wolverines travel to face rival Notre Dame in the season opener. A home matchup against SMU rounds out the non-conference games for Michigan.
In 2019, Michigan opens the season with home games against MTSU and Army. The other non-conference game is a mid-season matchup against Notre Dame. It will be the first time Michigan and Middle Tennessee State play each other in program history, while Army actually holds a 5-4 edge in its matchups with Michigan.
