The Michigan Wolverines' coaching staff has reopened their recruiting of 3-star all-purpose back and UCLA Bruins commitment Demetric Felton, per 247Sports' Steve Lorenz.
"At this point, there hasn't been much in terms of anything that looks like concrete interest on Felton's end," Lorenz wrote on Friday. "However, he's now a name to keep an eye on going forward as far as a potential official visit this fall. Michigan really wanted him early in the process after the scholarship offer and there was considerable disappointment when he committed to the Bruins without having visited Ann Arbor first."
Usually when staff member reopen recruiting in such a way, it's a sign that there's mutual interest. However, that doesn't seem to be the case right now -- at least not publicly.
Felton is ranked as the #13 all-purpose back in the Class of 2016 by 247Sports. He currently holds seven official offers. Most of those come from schools west of the Rockies.
