Top 4 Commitments:

5-Star DT Rashan Gary

The Wolverines landed the nation's top recruit Wedndesday afternoon. Clemson made a late push, but the Wolverines picked up the No. 1 recruit on Signing Day. It's the first time Michigan has ever landed the top recruit. Expect him to make an early impact for Michigan.

4-Star OT Ben Bredeson

Bredeson fills a major need for the Wolverines, who had to add a few offensive linemen this cycle. He's been committed to Michigan since June. He's the No. 39 overall player in the class of 2016 and the No. 5 OT. The Wolverines went into Wisconsin to land Bredeson.

4-Star QB Brandon Peters

The early enrollee will at least have a chance to earn playing time right away. While it's unlikely Peters will win the starting job, he has the makings of a future starter. He's the No. 61 overall player in the class of 2016 and the best recruit from Indiana. He's the sixth-best pro-style QB recruit.

4-Star CB David Long

Long was originally committed to Stanford, but eventually flipped to Michigan. He decommitted from Stanford in mid-December and pledged to Michigan just over a month later. He's the No. 65 overall player and the No. 8 corner. The Wolverines went to California to land him, where he was the ninth-best player.
