The Michigan Wolverines will have the services of All-American cornerback Jourdan Lewis for one more season. The junior said Tuesday that he won't be leaving early to enter the NFL Draft.
"I'm coming back," Lewis told MLive.com Tuesday. "[I want to finish] my education. I haven't graduated yet. ... I was always going to stay four years ... I can tell you 100 percent I'm coming back."
Lewis set a team record with 21 pass breakups this season. He also added 49 tackles, a sack and two picks. One of the interceptions was returned for a touchdown. Lewis was a USA Today First-Team All-American.
"Football's not going to last forever, I have other things planned for myself along the road," Lewis said. "It's just the best move for me."
Lewis is the second notable Michigan player to announced he'd return for his senior year. TE Jake Butt said earlier this month he'd be back for another season.
