Michigan football head coach Jim Harbaugh took his program to the IMG Academy in Bradenton, Florida for a week of spring practice, but Harbaugh is also having some fun off the field.
Michigan had an off-day from workouts today, but Harbaugh was still on the field - with the Detroit Tigers as the first base coach during their game against the Pittsburgh Pirates in spring training.
"Very excited. I was more nervous before I threw out the first pitch (at a Tiger game last summer)," Harbaugh said before taking the field, via MLive.com. "What a big thrill. To be in a big league park, being in the locker room, the skip's office. It's all very, very exciting."
Harbaugh wore a personalized No. 4 Tigers jersey and coached for the first few innings.
Most of Michigan's players also went to the game to watch their coach in action during the off-day, but a few did not go as the school isn't allowed to mandate what the players do during their free time on the trip.
