Michigan Wolverines head coach Jim Harbaugh made his weekly appearance on the Big Ten coaches conference call, answering various questions from media members. Harbaugh spoke about a few players in particular, his new podcast and the game against Florida.
As announced earlier Tuesday, Harbaugh will have a new weekly podcast. "Attack Each Day: The Harbaugh’s Podcast" starts on Sept. 5th and will feature family and friends of Harbaugh. It will be hosted by PodcastOne Sports.
"I'm looking forward to joining my dad and my other family members for our weekly podcast on PodcastOne," Harbaugh said. "A lot of people who I respect have been doing podcasts for years, and the Attack Each Day: The Harbaugh’s Podcast should be a fun experience for our show’s guests and for our listeners. My family has always been a cornerstone of my life. Sharing in this podcast with them is something that is going to be great."
Among the guests will be father Jack Harbaugh (long-time college coach), brother John (Ravens head coach) and former University of San Diego player J.T. Rogan. Other coaches and celebrities will make appearances on a "Who’s Got It Better Than Us? Nooo-body!" segment of the show.

The transcript of quotes from Harbaugh's Big Ten press conference are below. This will not be the last of Harbaugh's press conferences in the lead-up to Michigan's game against Florida Saturday. The general questions are bolded, with Harbaugh's answers in quotes below.
On LB And Captain Mike McCray:
"He did battle some injuries. Shoulder injuries. He rehabbed, really grueling rehab. When he got healthy he was really good and reliable. He’s a 'by-example type' of leader. Always the most genuine and the most kind. He’s somebody that has taken coaching well. He’s a stalwart."
On OL And Captain Mason Cole:
"Character at the highest level. Has developed into a coach on the field. One of the most versatile offensive linemen that I've ever been around. Last season moved to center and was one of the best in the conference. Now he's back to tackle and he can play guard at a high level. Intellect at a very high level, character and ability at the highest level."
There was then a question about non-conference play, but Harbaugh didn't give a quote worthy-answer.
On former Michigan coach Jedd Fisch and if he’s ready to be a head coach:
"He’s already ready to be ahead coach. I think he’s an outstanding coach. We became very good friends. Great coach, good guy. Ready to be a head coach. We're pulling for him ... Excited to see his offense."
On Tarik Black And Donovan Peoples-Jones:
"They were really good, right from the beginning. Fast friends and they roomed together in winter. Remained closed and have pushed each other. Both strive to be as good as they can be. They are mature beyond their years in talent, effort and focus. It's really a big reason why they’re successful and that’s home training. Outstanding players and great to be around. Two of my favorite players on the team."
On His New Podcast:
"Family football, talking about sports. Get to have my dad on it, talk to some family members and friends. It seemed like a good idea, so we’re gonna give it a shot."
On Game-Planning For The First Week:
"Try to anticipate. Not just at QB but at all positions when you've got the first game. There’s no exact tape and you’re trying to predict and anticipate and build your game plan around that. There will 'I & As.' Meaning you'll have to improvise and adjust throughout."
Harbaugh was then asked about preparing for transfer QBs, like Florida's Malik Zaire. Harbaugh said he didn't have an answer for that. That the was last question.
