We were the first to report last night that Shea Patterson had revealed a new Michigan football jersey number for 2018 - and now we have the video, first posted on Snapchat late Monday.
In the video, embedded below, and above, Patterson reveals that he will be removing the 0 from the end of his prior number, and wearing the iconic Michigan #2 in 2018.

While this is not 100% guaranteed that Patterson will wear #2 for Jim Harbaugh in 2018 and 2019, a number change was rumored for weeks. Some suggested that #20 was an "Ole Miss #" and Patterson was going to start fresh at Michigan with something different. His high school #7 is already taken by starting WR Tarik Black, but #2 was worn in 2017 also. Freshman WR Oliver Martin wore #2 last season. Watch the video above and below to see Shea Patterson's new Michigan football # for 2018.
