The Michigan Wolverines have landed Shea Patterson. The former Ole Miss quarterback announced today that he will transfer to Michigan.

It's a huge addition for Michigan, as Patterson was the No. 3 overall player in the 2016 recruiting class. He started seven games this season before getting hurt. He completed 63.8 percent of his passes for 2,259 yards, 17 TDs and nine INTs. Originally from Toledo, Patterson will likely become the starter once he's eligible.
It's still unclear if Patterson will be eligible to play right away because of the sanctions against Ole Miss. The Ole Miss players looking to transfer have already hired a lawyer in order to gain instant eligibility, claiming they were misled by Ole Miss.
Patterson visited Michigan this weekend, tossing snowballs at The Big House. Patterson was joined by Ole Miss teammates DB Deontay Anderson and WR Van Jefferson on the trip. Both could easily end up at Michigan as well.
