As Hill mentions, he had previously planned to wait until hearing his draft grade from the NFL Draft Advisoary Board. But, Hill has elected to decide before hearing back.
It's a good decision for Hill, given how deep the tight end class is this year (including Michigan's Jake Butt). Plus, if NFL teams view him as a full back only, he won't go very high in the NFL Draft.
Hill was a touchdown machine for Michigan this year in a fullback and tight end hybrid role. On the ground, Hill had 25 carries for 39 yards and 10 TDs. He also had 14 catches for 105 yards and two TDs.
