Earlier this year, Michigan coach Jim Harbaugh confirmed that the Wolverines will wear an alternative jersey during the 2017 season, saying the following the “Light Up the Land” football camp near Cleveland at John Carroll University on June 2nd:
“It’s going to happen. Some people like the element of surprise,” Harbaugh said, laughing. “I don’t know if I’m at liberty to say which one. I know which one it’s going to be. I don’t want to steal somebody else’s thunder.”
Michigan moved to Nike and the Jordan Jumpman brand last season. Last August when the uniforms were officially unveiled, Harbaugh said he would be open to an alternate uniform. He said he has had a hand in designing this alternate.
Earlier today, a user on Twitter named Gavin Rhodes revealed that Dick's Sporting Goods in Saginaw was selling the following jerseys:

After some digging and talking to sources, I can confirm that the Michigan football team was told about the alternative jersey and was able to wear them at Friday's practice.

It's not just jerseys. Michigan will be wearing maize pants as well on Saturday against Florida in Dallas. The uniform is said to be inspired by recent alternative uniforms Nike created for the LA Rams, as seen below.
