Kickoff for Saturday night's game between the Michigan Wolverines and Minnesota Golden Gophers has been delayed 75 minutes, Michigan announced. The game is now set to start at 8:45 pm ET.
"We anticipate opening the gates to Michigan Stadium at approximately 7:30 p.m," associate athletics director Kurt Svoboda said. "We estimate that the game will start now at 8:45 p.m. These are estimates and can change based on weather."

There have been thunderstorms in the area all afternoon. Michigan State's game against Penn State was delayed nearly five hours due to lightning earlier today.
