49ers head football coach Jim Harbaugh met with his team Saturday night at a Santa Clara, CA hotel to discuss many things related to today's season finale vs. the Cardinals, but most importantly to tell them how much they have meant to him and how proud he has been being their coach.
Harbaugh further revealed his future by addressing that everyone is aware of the situation and what is likely going to take place in the next few days, but Harbaugh stopped short of saying goodbye last night, and instead fired the team up in an effort to go out on top this season with a win today.
According to our source close to Harbaugh, Jim intends to announce his departure from the 49ers to his team following the game today and say all his goodbyes to players individually in the hours following the game, before signing a contract to become Michigan's next head football coach.
