Per source, former Michigan head coach Brady Hoke will join the Notre Dame staff after Signing Day. Multiple reports earlier the the week indicated Notre Dame defensive backs coach Kerry Cooks will join the Oklahoma staff, opening a spot on the defensive side of the ball at Notre Dame.
Hoke made is mark in coaching as a defensive line coach at Michigan, Oregon State, Western Michigan, and Grand Valley State before becoming a head coach at Ball State and San Diego State.
His time with the Wolverines did not go well, but ND head coach Brian Kelly is hoping to utilize his reputation as a good recruiter.
Hoke has obviously flipped from his stance two years ago when he called out Notre Dame for "chickening out" of the annual rivalry game between the Irish and the Wolverines.
