Michigan's head football coach, Brady Hoke, and athletic director Dave Brandon have come under fire recently for the way they handled (or didn't handle) the obvious concussion of quarterback Shane Morris, allowing the him to stay in the game.
Some students and fans were so outraged that an online petition was created, calling for Brandon to be fired, citing the fact that he had "alienated the student body". The petition received over 11,000 signatures in just a few days.
A new report has come out detailing the first 10,746 signatures on the petition. 4,788 were students, 30 had "professor" in their title, and 110 were affiliated with "intercollegiate athletics".
If accurate, that means roughly one-third of Dave Brandon's staff has signed a petition to have him fired. http://t.co/UH1wasbrJd

Michigan's Board of Regents is meeting today to discuss Brandon's future and, while they don't have the authority to fire him, they can have a heavy influence on new Michigan president Mark S. Schlissel, who does.
