The Michigan Wolverines host the Utah Utes in another crucial game for the Wolverines.
After getting embarrassed by Notre Dame, Michigan came out with a strong win over Miami (OH) last week. They will need another strong outing to string together back-to-back wins.
Records:
Utah: 2-0
Michigan: 2-1
Last Meeting: Utah won 25-23 in 2008
Key Stat: Utah is averaging 57.5 points per game, good for third best in the FBS.
Utah Outlook: The Utes come into this game with a 2-0 record, having done so in dominant fashion. Utah hasn't played the strongest of teams, but the 59-27 win over Fresno State is still noticeable.
They will face their toughest test of the season against Michigan, but this offense has proven more than capable behind junior quarterback Travis Wilson, who has six touchdowns and no interceptions in the first two games.
Michigan Outlook: The Wolverines had no trouble against a team with the longest current losing streak in the nation, but will once again face a tough test against Utah.
Devin Gardner got back on track last week after a terrible showing against Notre Dame, throwing for 184 yards and two scores, though he did throw an interception as well.
Running back Derrick Green had a strong showing, finishing the game with 137 yards and two touchdowns on the ground.
What to watch for: Michigan's ability to slow down the Utah offense is going to make or break the game for them. The Wolverines have struggled offensively against tougher competition, and while the Utes defense isn't great, it's still a step up from Miami (OH).
If Gardner continues to turn the ball over it will be trouble for the Wolverines offense. Utah won't score 57 points in this one, but expect them to produce enough points to keep Michigan's offense on its toes.

Prediction:
Utah - 31, Michigan - 28
In a game that could go either way, Utah will pull this one out if Gardner and the Wolverines offense isn't on point. Expect points to be scored on both sides, with the Utes doing just enough offensively and making fewer mistakes to edge out the Wolverines on the road.
