The nation watched in shock as Michigan backup WR Drew Dileo, who is also the holder, seemingly on his own accord, faked a field goal with 19 seconds left in the first half of tonight's Sugar Bowl, rolled right, and threw the ball into the Virginia Tech secondary, without a eligible Michigan receiver anywhere to be found.
What it resulted in was probably the first time in football history a long snapper has caught a pass off of a fake field goal.
