2015 potential 4-star CB Shaun Crawford from Lakewood (Ohio) St. Edward announced his commitment to Brady Hoke and Michigan. To anyone following the story, this was no surprise, as he has said in recent days that only one school is seriously in the running, and given that Michigan has been the only consistent program in his favorites (and has never been knocked out of the No. 1 spot), that means good news for Michigan.
In other news, Crawford may not be the only 2015 prospect to commit this week: Huber Heights (Ohio) Wayne 2015 defensive back Tyree Kinnel is visiting Michigan this weekend. Each time he has visited in the past, he has named Michigan his leader. When he steps foot on campus this time, it will be his first with an offer from the Wolverines and we expect him to accept it and commit. Kinnel isn't quite as much a "sure thing" as Crawford based on the film, but he's plenty capable of playing at this level.
He's is very likely to end up at safety: he has good ball skills, and likely wouldn't be asked to play until he's a few years into the system, should he pick Michigan.
Stay tuned over the weekend for more Michigan football recruiting rumors surrounding 2014 and 2015 prospects.
