2014 Michigan football commit Jabrill Peppers, universally regarded as 1 of the top 2 players in America for the 2014 class, has been informed that he will be given the privilege and honor of wearing the legendary Michigan jersey #2 when he arrives on campus in August. The source of this news is the same insider who 2 weeks ago told Chat Sports exclusively about Devin Gardner switching to #98 against Notre Dame.
A QB wearing #98? Sources saying Michigan's @dg1two will change jersey #s to honor Michigan legend Tom Harmon vs. Notre Dame.

Given that Peppers is regarded as Michigan's next All-American 2-way player, it is fitting that he will take the jersey # of Michigan's last Heisman winner, 2 way superstar Charles Woodson. Woodson, who won the 1997 Heisman, starred for the Wolverines on defense, offense at WR and from time to time on special teams as a punt returner.
Pepper will likely start from day 1 at CB for the Wolverines, but is also going to be given a chance to play offense at QB and wildcat QB for the Wolverines.
