This is getting ridiculous. The past 6 quarters are maybe the most frustrating in recent Michigan football history. The offense looks lost: Devin Gardner cannot complete a pass, Fitz Toussaint can't gain a yard and the offensive line is the worst in the Big Ten.
The game was likely going into half tied 7-7......And then Da'Mario Jones lets a punt hit him in the foot inside the 10 yard line when Michigan was about to get the ball back with 2:25 left in the half... which UCONN turned into an easy swing pass TD, giving UCONN a 14-7 lead with 1:47 left in the half.
Announcer Sean McDonough right before half: "Realistically, so far this season UCONN is the worst team in the country."
The good:
Nothing
The bad:
Gardner
Offensive Line
Defensive pass rush
Running game
Receivers
And most of all... COACHING
Stats
Devin Gardner: 6-14, 51 yards, 2 INT - 11 carries, 28 yards 1 TD
Fitz Toussaint: 10 carries, 37 yards
UCONN sacks on Gardner: 3 - and they had ZERO all season so far
WR: No one with even 15 yards
Total Yards:
Michigan 115
UCONN 130
UCONN LEADING Michigan 14-7 going into half. Yeah.
