Michigan football coach Jim Harbaugh was a surprise write-in candidate in voting for CSG president and finished fourth in the race, according to unofficial results released to The Michigan Daily by Law student Paige Becker.
Harbaugh received 115 votes for president in total, which accounts for 1.26 percent of the total vote.
Some voters got creative with their write-in submissions with the tickets “Jim Harbaugh and Jabrill Peppers,” “Jim Harbaugh and His Khakis” and “Jim Harbaugh and Jesus Shuttlesworth” each receiving one vote.
He also received 21 votes as a write-in candidate in LSA’s elections for CSG representative, which made him the leading write-in candidate and 64th-highest vote-getter overall.
