The Michigan Wolverines officially have their first commit of the 2017 recruiting cycle, landing a commitment from Bloomfield Brother Rice tight end Carter Dunaway, per Dunaway's personal Twitter account:

Dunaway was offered at Michigan's spring game, and will now follow in the footsteps of his father who played for Michigan. In addition, his brother, Jack, is currently a preferred walk-on for the Wolverines.
The 6-foot-6, 225-pound Dunaway is not currently rated by any major recruiting services. He was a prep teammate of current Michigan freshman quarterback Alex Malzone and incoming freshman wide receiver commit Grant Perry last season as a sophomore at Brother Rice.
