Former Michigan Wolverines star Tyrone Wheatley has reportedly signed on to be the program's next running backs coach under new head coach Jim Harbaugh, and it's possible that his son could end up on his way to Ann Arbor as well.
2015 four-star TE/DE Tyrone Wheatley Jr. was said to be wavering on his interest in Michigan, but his dad's impending hire appears to have changed all that.

Per Wolverine247's Steve Lorenz, "despite strong evidence that Michigan was trending downward for the Buffalo (NY) Canisius standout, a resurgence of predictions have taken place for the Wolverines as news continues to gather that his dad will take the running back coaching job under Jim Harbaugh in Ann Arbor."
Wheatley Jr. is a capable prospect at both tight end and defensive end, so the question remains as to which position (if not both) Michigan is recruiting him for. Regardless, Jim Harbaugh and his staff would just like to get a commitment from him and worry about how to best utilize his talents from there.
