Winchester (IN) running back Kiante Enis made his first trip to Ann Arbor on Saturday, and he was beyond impressed with what he saw out of the campus and the Michigan Wolverines football program in general.
“It was fantastic,” the three-star back said, via 247Sports.
“Just everything. Just the vibe I got from it, especially the coaching staff, they did a great job presenting the campus, the facilities, everything to us.
“I learned a lot today. Just the tradition and all the academic benefits and being a student, not just a football player but a student at Michigan.”
Ranked by 247Sports as the #36 running back in the Class of 2016 and the #7 prospect in the state of Indiana, Enis says that Michigan has taken lead over other suitors such as Big Ten rivals Indiana and Michigan State.
“They pretty much shot to the top,” Enis said.
Enis made the journey to Ann Arbor with his coach Mike Jones.
“Michigan is special,” Jones said. “That’s an impressive deal. He’s going to win. They’re going to win. They have the academic thing set up perfectly for their football players to be successful in the classroom. Just a really, really positive atmosphere. And the energy, there is so much energy around the program.”
