The Michigan Wolverines aren't messing around when it comes to prepping for the future under head coach Jim Harbaugh, and it shows in the aggressive tact they've taken with prospects in both the classes of 2016 and 2017.
West Union (Iowa) North Fayette Top100 2017 defensive tackle Juan Harris is the latest to receive an offer from Harbaugh's staff. An Iowa commit, Harris visited Michigan on Saturday and landed an offer from the retooling program.
"My visit was great," Harris said of his visit to Ann Arbor, via 247Sports' Steve Wiltfong.
"Everything in that place was amazing. The coaching staff was great."
Checking in at a massive 6-foot-4 & 356 pounds, Harris is ranked as the #10 defensive tackle prospect in his class by 247Sports. However, the four-star prospect may have the most explosiveness at the point of attack of any of the defensive tackles coming to the NCAA in 2017, regardless of the fact that nine players are ranked in front of him.
Harris is considered a soft to commit to Iowa, and also holds offers from the likes of Tennessee, Virginia, Wisconsin, and others.
