In Michigan football news today, recent renovations at Michigan's Schembechler Hall have taken place to give Michigan football fans, students, and recruits a unique glimpse into the history of the program.
According to Mark Snyder of the Detroit Free Press, Schembechler Hall is now "filled with interactive exhibits on the program’s history, a display of the U-M Legends jerseys with each player’s helmet and an overhead mural of them together. There are areas highlighting aspects of the program from Michigan Stadium to the coaching history to the All-Americas and more." (Thanks to the Detroit Free Press for the photo).
Per Snyder's article, there is no doubt why Michigan has gone to great lengths to showcase their history to incoming recruits: “There’s an arms race that continues to grow,” coach Brady Hoke states in the article. “We’re doing fine, you’re not going to find a better one.”
Michigan's history in football tends to speak for itself, but now it comes to life at Schembechler Hall.
