The Jim Harbaugh era of Michigan Wolverines football is opening up doors to plenty of intriguing prospects on the recruiting trail, with four-star Houston (TX) MacArthur defensive end Isaiah Chambers expressing hope that Harbaugh and his staff will give him a call.
"Michigan is a great program," Chambers said, via Steve Lorenz of Wolverine247. "They have the most wins in college history and are bringing in a great new staff. I would really, really like to hear from them."
Right now, Baylor, Texas A&M, and TCU - all in-state options - appear to be the major players to land Chambers. Also, per Lorenz, "Arizona State, Oklahoma, Michigan State and Missouri are among the other programs that have already offered him scholarships."
However, Michigan's addition of Harbaugh and DJ Durkin (defensive coordinator) is enough to have piqued Chambers' interest with recruiting season heating up.
