Michigan Wolverines defensive end Frank Clark was arrested early on Sunday morning for suspected domestic violence, per multiple reports.
Per Kevin McGuire of NBC's College Football Talk, "Clark is currently in an Erie County jail in Ohio. The jail’s website confirms Clark was booked Sunday. His status with the Michigan football team has not been confirmed as of yet. Michigan officials have not released any information about Clark as of Sunday morning."
Clark has run afoul of the law before during his time with the Michigan Wolverines. In 2012, Clark was arrested for second-degree home invasion after he stole a laptop from a Michigan dorm. Clark plead guilty and was sentenced to one-year probation for his actions.
In the wake of the incident, head coach Brady Hoke suspended Clark for one game. It is unclear whether or not Michigan will decide to take preemptive action in this current case, or if they will wait for the legal process before handing out a potential suspension.
