JUST IN: 4-Star QB Zach Gentry Flips From Texas To Michigan

Jim Harbaugh waited almost a month to land his first Michigan recruit. He got his second just hours later.

There had been rumblings for weeks that 4-Star quarterback Zach Gentry was considering flipping his commitment from Texas to Michigan, and he did just that at Michigan's basketball game Saturday night. Gentry had been on an official visit to UM this weekend, as reported earlier.

After making his commitment at halftime of Michigan's game against Wisconsin, Gentry hugged & celebrated with his host, Michigan linebacker Chase Winovich.

Gentry had been committed to Texas since May, but heavy interest from Jim Harbaugh led to rumors he was considering a flip. Momentum was clearly building when he announced his intention to visit, and Harbaugh took care of the rest from there.
