Father of Michigan O-Line starter vent's about Michigan coaching staff

The father of 5th year senior starting offensive lineman Mike Schofield took to a Michigan football message board to vent about the Michigan coaching staff last night.

Mike Schofield Sr., a known poster of many Michigan football message boards under the user name 'Higbe' posted 3 'Vents' as he called them, calling out the Michigan football coaching staff for decisions he disagrees with and offered up suggestions on how to right the ship.

"First....why was Bosch taken out of a starting roll just when it looked like the Oline was making a little progress........what did you think would happen moving Mags from Right Guard to Left Guard..the kid is a tackle...learning guard just starting to gelling with Schofield now move him to Left with two games left? How many times did the starting Oline take the field this year with differnt starters....I do not know of any team that did what Michigan did this year... The Tackles are making the calls the Guards should be..and are told to help the guards first when ever possible...Who's on First...What's on Second...I give up.......This is not all on the Oline.....they are trying to do what they can...who knows what the starting Line up will be next week....lets be consistent and try something else........

Yesterday I was sitting in row 1 35 yard line behind the Michigan players (so I missed most of the game because I could not see over them)....What I saw was this......Coach Mattison, after every D series come to the D on the bench and say to the guys...good job, or what the heck where you doing or why did you do that, then say, well this is what you need to do...or you need to do this better.....

Brady would do the same thing...pat guys on the shouldler....or get into them about a bad play..and tell them what they need to fix.....

Offensive line...very little interaction by head coach or any coaches..

Devin...I watched him several times come of the field...with no coaches talking to him...sit down and several players come up to him.....When he fumbled at the end of the game.....it was lineman who came up to him and walked with him....not a coach....

On one of his sacks...the Defender came in untouched from the left.....Devin see's it and runs to the right...right into a defend that Michael had blocked and secured...Devin has been beat up..beat down and is just running instead of reading....

OK Fixes....we need a QB Coach..we have done Devin a dis-service...this kid IMO would be so much better confident if he had a coach..

Brady needs to be a Head Coach Only.....What I see is an issue of command...you can not be in charge and also be part of the inner workings..it does not work.......he needs to walk down and get in on the Oline discussions...but he is watching/talking to the D..

#3 ...we need a reorganization of the staff, not replacement. QB coach..Hoke a head coach only...as a start. I would urge Brandon to have a one on one without coaches present with the Seniors, especially the 5th year guys who went through the RR change and everything that went along with that. This session would be to improve Michigan football and not a ***** (bitch) session.... Also if he really wants input have the same meeting with the parents...we have a lot to offer.... It's always the darkest before the Dawn...Lets see if they are ready for change."

"After the Michigan Iowa game I made a post on this site, many took it as a slam at the coaches and the program...it was not my intention.....First I will say, as a parent that posts, your words can be and will be taken as gospel or as something that they are not...

Most of you on the site have read my post over the last 5 years and know that I support this team and coaches 100%...this has been a tough year for everyone...player familes no different...we read the papers, posts and blogs about our team, coaches and sons, we know how hard the coaches work, how hard the team works and how hard the the staff behind it all work..Ok I reached my breaking point....I messed up.......I, of anyone should have know better....I teach the do not write email send a letter for at least 24 hours after an incident...I broke it I derserve what happens...

Of course I made remarks after a tough lose that someone took to twitter...thats all on me for posting the way I did. I let the emotions of the day and year get to me....if any one has any questions for me about what I said,,,here is my email **REDACTED** GO BLUE........BEAT OHIO"
