Following a deflating 30-14 loss to the Minnesota Golden Gophers on Saturday, Michigan Wolverines head coach Brady Hoke's seat went from hot to absolutely sizzling.
However, as reported by Mark Snyder of the Detroit Free Press, Hoke remains adamant that the Wolverines can turn things around:
Hoke: I think this team can still win the championship. I really do.

Of course it's technically possible with just one loss in conference play so far. However, the 2-3 Wolverines have looked spotty at best all season long, making a Big Ten championship a daunting proposition for this particular Michigan squad. Michigan Wolverines fans were well aware of that at the Big House on Saturday, as a very vocal portion of them rained 'Fire Hoke" chants down on the embattled leader of the Wolverines. Hoke says he didn't notice:
Hoke on chants for his job: I didn't hear it... This is a big boy business

With the very real possibility of him losing his job sooner rather than later and the uproar that is already taking place on Twitter, it will be hard for him to ignore the heat for much longer.
