Michigan football head coach Brady Hoke today announced that star freshman defensive back Jabrill Peppers will miss the rest of the season due to an ankle injury. Peppers appeared in only three games this season as a punt returner and a defensive back. He recorded eight tackles in his appearances, including six solo.
Because of the limited action he's seen in 2014, Peppers will qualify for a medical redshirt, leaving him with four remaining years of eligibility. Peppers was a 5-star rated recruit and the #1 rated cornerback in the country out of Paramus, NJ.
