Doug Nussmeier is the new offensive coordinator a Michigan. Nussmeier is the current offensive coordinator at Alabama, a role which he has held for the past 2 seasons.
In 2 seasons as Nick Saban's OC, he won 1 BCS National Championship and was on the brink of an undefeated season this year. His QB, A.J. MAcCarron, finished 2nd in the 2013 Heisman voting.
The 43-year-old Nussmeier replaces Al Borges, who spent three seasons at Michigan.
Prior to Alabama, Nussmeier was OC at Washington, where he coached 1st round draft pick Jake Locker at QB.
Prior to coming to an agreement with Nussmeiere, Michigan interviewed Josh Heupel, Cam Cameron and Don Treadwell.
