The Michigan Wolverines continued their momentum from last week's surprise Big Ten Tournament title run, using some hot shooting to grab a 92-91 win over the Oklahoma State Cowboys.
Michigan made an astonishing 11 three-pointers in the second half on just 15 attempts, spearheading their comeback victory. Point guard Derrick Walton Jr. led the way with a double-double, recording a game-high 27 points and 11 assists.
Oklahoma State maintained a healthy advantage for most of the first half, leading by as many as seven points, but a late spurt from the Wolverines have them a 41-40 lead going into the break.

The Cowboys responded with an 8-0 run of their own, building a six-point lead in the first four minutes of the the second half. However, that was when Michigan got hot from distance, making those 11 three-pointers in the final 16 minutes of the game to pull out the victory.
Along with Walton's outstanding performance, D.J. Wilson added 19 points and five rebounds while Zak Irvin and Muhammad-Ali Abdur-Rahkman each added 16 points for the Wolverines.
Star Jawun Evans paced the game for Oklahoma State all afternoon, finishing with 23 points, 12 assists and seven rebounds. Jeffrey Carroll also added 19 points and five rebounds.
Michigan advances to play the winner of (2) Louisville/(15) Jacksonville State on Sunday.
