5 Super Recruits Jim Harbaugh Can Still Land Before National Signing Day

We're just one week away from National Signing Day, and for Jim Harbaugh and the Wolverines, the clock is ticking.

Michigan's current 2015 recruiting class is definitely nothing to write home about - it might have finally cracked the top 70, but it's still behind Western Michigan, San Jose State and Pac-12 basement dwellers Colorado in 247's Class Rankings.

While Michigan probably won't crack the top 10 (at least, not this year), Harbaugh & co. can still make a solid class out of this 2015 group - here are five super recruits who would instantly vault Michigan into respectable territory:

TE/DE Tyrone Wheatley Jr.

Wheatley's father is a Wolverines legend who recently joined Jim Harbaugh's coaching staff, so it's no surprise that Wheatley is being tipped to join his dad in Ann Arbor.

A 4-Star TE recruit who was also a standout defensive end in high school, Wheatley's versatility and size (he's 6'6, 260) would be welcomed with open arms.

RB Mike Weber

MikeWeber

The biggest reach on this list, Weber de-committed from Michigan during one of the darkest moments of last season, then pledged his future to Ohio State and shut down his recruitment. Despite all that, there are still Michigan coaches who think they can get him to flip back, and they won't stop trying until his fax goes through on National Signing Day.

The #9 RB in the Class of 2015, Weber is a 4-Star who could compete immediately for action in the backfield.

OLB Roquan Smith

RoquanSmith

A Georgia native, Smith is leaning heavily toward the in-state Dawgs...but Michigan isn't out of the running just yet. His visit to Ann Arbor two weeks ago reportedly went well, and he immediately hit it off with new DC D.J. Durkin.

A quick, agile 4-Star LB, Smith would be a real asset for Durkin's defense.

TE Chris Clark

Clark de-committed shortly after Brady Hoke was fired, but there were rumblings that he'd be back if the Wolverines hired the right coach. With Harbaugh in town, Clark has been inching closer to re-committing...but Jim Mora and UCLA are very much still in the picture.

Clark is a 4- or 5-Star recruit (depending on which recruiting service you ask), but there's no debate over what he brings to the table. Michigan badly needs a TE, and Clark is the best one currently available.

CB Iman Marshall

The #1 cornerback in the class of '15, Marshall has no shortage of offers, and he's widely considered to be a strong USC lean...but the Wolverines are still in the running.

While we wouldn't bet too much on Marshall trading the west coast for Ann Arbor, the Harbaugh factor can't be underestimated. Newly-hired assistants Mike Zordich and Greg Jackson have been making a late push, and it sounds like Marshall is listening...
