My duty as a average to below-average blogger is to inform and today I'd like to inform you about college coaches. There are hundreds of college coaches each year whose 80 hour work weeks and complete neglect of family duties go unnoticed each year. Even the unknown coaches who make it to the NCAA tournament, the pinnacle of success for most mid majors, get completed ignored once they get beat by 30 in the first round. I will not let the tireless work of the men outside of the coaching glitterti go unnoticed.
There is absolutely no better way to bring attention to someone who isn't famous than by comparing them to someone who is. Hopefully when you see these men on the sidelines this Thursday and Friday you give them more than a cursory glance that says, "I don't care where Lamar is Pat, but I want you to go back there immediately and not show up on my TV screen for another 12 months." That's mean, and Pat is a great guy.
Enjoy.
