You like that? MSU’s Cousins in NFL playoffs

Multiple surgeries, months of pain, six weeks of radiation and one round of chemotherapy later, Don Cousins got the news he sought Tuesday at MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston.

The scan came back clean. No sign of the cancer that had invaded his neck in July and forced the removal of the lymph nodes on his left side.

His wife, MaryAnn, was with him, but Don sent the good news to the rest of the family via group text, shortly after he got it. The first response came from the second of their three children, Kirk.
